Please read the following information carefully.
Welcome to the online entry system for the 1500m Classic of the UQ Sport Spring Meet Series, to be held at the UQ Athletic Centre, St. Lucia on November 1st, 2018
NOTE: All athletes competing in the 1500m Classic event must be registered with Queensland Athletics ar another Athletic Association. Those not already registered can register here as a Base member before entering for the meet.
Please note that entries submitted via the online system must be paid by credit card at the time of entry. The entry fee is $15.00 per athlete (incl GST) for UQ Athletic Club athletes, $20.00 for athletes currently registered with Queensland Athletics or other Athletics Australia Associations.
There is no charge for athletes registered with QLD Athletics as Platinum members.
Refunds will not be issued for online entries under any circumstances. All entries are subject to final approval from UQ Athletics Centre.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Close of Entries:
Entries close on Tuesday 30th October, 2018 at 09:00 am. After this date and time the online entry system will automatically cease operation.
Athletes should enter prior to the closing date for entries to ensure a start. Late entries will only be accepted up until noon on Wednesday 31 October, if there are positions available in their race of choice. Total late entry fee will be $50.
Please Note entries will not be taken on the day of the meet.
There will be no refunds of online entries. No exceptions.
Event Start Lists:
Event start lists will be available on the Queensland Athleticsand UQ Sport web sites by 5:00 pm on Wednesday October 31st. Athletes must inform staff on the day of competition if there have been any errors with their entry, or if they wish to withdraw from their event.
Start lists are generated based on performances. Athletes are requested to submit current performances with their entry, not a best performance achieved at some earlier time. Organisers will do their best to vet performances submitted with athletes's entry.
Timetable of Events:
The draft timetable currently available may be adjusted following the close of entries. The final Event Schedule will be available on the Queensland Athletics and UQ Sport websites by 5 pm on Wednesday October 31st. It is the responsibility of each athlete to ensure they are aware of the start time of their event.
12 & under 1500m (12 yrs & under, born 2006 or later) - all athletes must be no older than 12 years of age as at 31 / 12 / 2018. It is also recommended that athletes should be at least 8 yrs old before attempting the event. Secondary 1500m (13 yrs and Over, born 2005 or earlier) - all must be no younger than 13 years old as at 31 / 12 / 2018, To enter the Masters 1500m athletes need to be at least 30 yrs of age as at 31 / 12 / 2018.
Please be aware, any school aged athlete may be elevated to the Elite Race if their time permits
Bib numbers will be issued on the day of the event. All athletes must check-in at the Meeting Room in the Athletics Centre Grandstand to advise that they are competing and get their name ticked off, as well as to collect their Bib number.
The IAAF 'no false start' rule 162.7 will be applied to this meet.
